Why change your diet and how you can convince yourself...

Hello everybody!

Here is my first blog post to summarize my thoughts.

I have been doing a lot of thinking around the western diet and how it impacts my quality of life. Just wanted to share some of the good resources I ran into over years. I am eager to hear your experiences as well.

As a result of this exploration, I mostly switched to a plant based diet and my weight went down by almost 30 lbs (13 kgs) in a little over 2 months. I feel better&happier than ever! I did it first by replacing some meals by fresh squeezed vegetable juices and then taking dairy, sweet and red meat products almost off the table by eating them as a delicacies. (see more on this in the documentary below "fat sick and nearly dead"). Below is my up-to-date weight graph over the past several months. You can see the progress (or lack there of!) . I'll talk more on what my experience was like in another blog post.

I use a scale called Withings that is connected to the internet, so every time I weigh myself it registers the readings automatically. That helps a lot with facing the reality and tracking progress.
